Join WHS to support STEM — Science Technology Engineering Math — Â for the future of homeland security technology! Â WHS’ STEM efforts focus on bringing the incredible resources of our members together with our homeland security leaders of the future by touring and “seeing” science, technology, engineering and math, IN ACTION!
And what better place to do that than the Lockheed Martin Innovation Center — where kids will explore 5 product and technology demonstration centers. Â Whether it be learning about the capabilities of the world’s most advanced fighter jets in the Fighter Demonstration Center, exploring the Space, Tactical Solutions or NexGen technology or walking through history in the Legacy Experience the kids will learn through hands-on experience, videos and artifacts. Explore the demonstration centers then hear from a WHS member whose career in science and technology illustrates the fascinating and diverse world of a career in STEM. Dr. Rausch was the first director of the Human Factors division recognized as a lead agency for social behavioral national security and technology. The division was tasked with using technology and science to predict and analyze behavior to stop an impending terrorist attack through predictive modeling.
