WHS welcomes Harris and Raytheon to its prestigious supporters for efforts to raise donations for the Border Patrol Foundation (BPF).  The BPF, WHS’ Charity of the year, provides resources to the families of the fallen and creates awareness of the escalating risk of those who keep America’s borders safe. These services create a financial bridge through the turbulent time following a family’s loss. The Foundation supports programs improving awareness of United States border security and recognizes community leaders supporting the families of the U.S. Border Patrol. The Foundation’s volunteers have served with the U.S. Border Patrol or are professionals, friends and family committed to the importance of securing America’s borders and dedicate their lives to the same.

“Support from Harris and Raytheon will certainly add tremendously to the success of the WHS Annual Spirit of Giving Auction.  As the recent attack on the TSA indicates, our protectors are under siege and it is critical that we are there to support them,” said Kristina Tanasichuk, President of Women in Homeland Security.  “We can’t thank Harris and Raytheon enough for their support of these families.”

WHS has already raised $7500 for the BPF through its annual WHS BBQ Cook-Off that brings teams of homeland security teams together to compete for a grand prize.  The WHS Auction is held annually and gathers donation of items and sponsorships for a silent and live auction to benefit the organization’s selected charity.  For more information on the auction, or to make a donation, please contact [email protected].
