06 May WHS Announces 5th Anniversary Steering Committee

Women in Homeland Security announced their 5th Anniversary Steering Committee, Co-chaired by Senator Susan Collins and Former Congresswoman Jane Harman, for a year of events around the organization’s milestone anniversary.  Mirroring the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s priorities the group will host activities to recognize National Preparedness Month, Cyber Security Awareness Month and Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Month.  Additionally, Steering Committee members will commemorate the events of September 11th, continue expansion of their exciting Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) initiative and raise funds for the ICE Foundation.
