Join colleagues in the homeland security community to taste the best BBQ cooked up by teams from the public sector to be judged by YOU and celebrity chefs from the D.C. area. The winners will receive the GRAND WHS BBQ trophy to be held at their headquarters…until next year!!

REGISTER YOUR TEAM:

The deadline to register your team for the 2012 WHS BBQ Cook-off is approaching fast! We know that many teams are in the works so here are a few more details:
-Your team can consist of up to 15 people.
-Admission is included for team members and their families.
-WHS provides the sides, tables, BBQs, everything but the MEAT.
-You can BBQ whatever type of meat/vegetable/tofu you think will win this extravaganza, so chicken, brisket, a whole pig, veggie kabobs, whatever you can think of!
-You are responsible for 100 single tasting portions (i.e. one rib per person, one small piece of chicken, etc.) There will be at least 8 other BBQ teams so there will be plenty of food!
-Scholarships are available. If the cost of your item is prohibitive between your team mates, contact us to arrange for a scholarship.
-BBQ will be judged by popular vote AND by several “celebrity” judges.
-The 2012 Trophy will be presented at the event and “live” with your office for the year.
-Send us your team name & grill mates by June 15th to reserve your spot!
