YuLin Bingle leads the Department of Homeland Security’s all-source analytic effort against cyber threats to the department and its components including federal, state, local, territorial, tribal entities, and private sector owners and operators of critical infrastructure and key resources. She teams with department and whole-of-community partners to improve critical infrastructure cyber security and increase resilience to cyber threats. She previously served as the Defense Intelligence Agency’s chief for cyber threat analysis, leading all-source intelligence analysis to warn of adversary cyber capabilities and intentions against national security and defense interests, and support U.S. policy and operations. Bingle’s distinguished military career included several command leadership assignments and deployments culminating in Iraq where she served as the deputy of strategic communications and as the strategic effects strategist and planner to the Commanding General, Multi-National Force-Iraq.
