WHS now accepting applications for 2017-2018 Charity: deadline March 15!

We’re looking for our next great charity!  Each year, WHS selects a charity related to the homeland security community as their charity of choice.  We host two fundraisers: the WHS BBQ Cook-Off and our Spirit of Giving Auction.  To date we have raised over $150,000 for charities such as the Fairfax International Search & Rescue, the ICE Foundation, the Border Patrol Foundation, the USCG Enlisted Memorial, the No Greater Sacrifice Foundation, NLEOMF, and the FBI Agents Association.

We raise approximately $30,000 – $40,000 and all proceeds of our fundraising go to the charity.

Requirements:

1) The charity must support the homeland security community

2) The charity does NOT have to support just women

3) The charity must be open to an on-going relationship with WHS and work with us to build the homeland security community (put together a BBQ team, help us market the events to their folks).
