WHS Participates in #wearblueday for Human Trafficking

For the whole month of January, DHS’ Blue Campaign works to raise awareness of the threats and everyday consequences of human trafficking. As a part of this campaign, they ask that people wear blue to raise awareness. However, with the government shut down, DHS was unable to launch the campaign in 2019. Instead, Homeland Security Today (HSToday) took up the charge to raise awareness, asking people to post them wearing blue with the hashtag #wearblueday. The campaign was a success, with dozens of people tweeting with their pictures wearing blue.
